"Maximizing Your Bird Dog Exercise for a Stronger Core and Improved Stability"

The bird dog exercise is important for strengthening:

  • Core

  • Back muscles

  • Hips

  • Butt

  • Thighs. It helps to relieve low back pain and promote good posture and balance.


The exercise can be broken down into 3 levels:

  1. Begin on all fours and raise your arms in front of you

  2. Begin on all fours and raise your legs out behind you

  3. Combined the previous levels while maintaining a neutral spine and keeping you hips level

Give it a try! do 3 sets of 10 repetitions daily!
